Brandon Pugh | Drummer

Growing up most of his life in a small town of Central Florida called Astatula, Brandon has grown up under a household of very supportive parents and lots of rock’n’roll.

"The crazy part is none of me family ever showed me or had a passion to play an instrument, I’ve always had an urge to learn something musical, whether it be piano at age 5, Eddie Van Halen inspiring me to play guitar at age 7, or just listening to the drum wizard Neil Peart of Rush."

He remembers asking his mom if he could get a drumset for his 8th birthday and she was hoping he’d stick with it instead of turning it down like the other instruments that he’s had the previous years. The moment his birthday came around, he was the happiest boy ever. He had already thought of numerous rhythms to play and somehow the ability just came natural.

Fast forward to today, at the age of 23, Brandon has been through 7 years of school band (marching, jazz, classical) and 3 other bands that have produced lots of great original music. Drummers he’s loved over the years include bands like Royal Blood, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, Tame Impala, Gojira, and plenty more.

If you’ve ever seen him live, you know he doesn’t like to just sit around and play like any other average player, he is an animated powerhouse of a drummer that wants the crowd to be engaged. Seeing people dance to the music he plays is one of the greatest feelings and he will continue to keep that drive with him for the rest of his life.
